We cordially invite you to participate in the 22nd EMMA (European Multiple Myeloma Academy) 2020 meeting.
Due to the current COVID-19 pandemic and with the aim of guarantee health and safety of our attendees and faculty members we have made the decision to hold the 22nd EMMA 2020 meeting as a virtual edition, maintaining the scheduled dates, September 4th and 5th 2020.
As usual, this exciting program consisting of a mix between formal presentations, workshops and roundtable discussions is willing to achieve close interaction among participants and speakers, nearly each plenary session will be followed by 20-30 minutes of experts’ discussion about the most important questions regarding each plenary topic. Questions can be sent by chat to the chair of each session.
The program traces a reach spanning from the molecular events transforming pre-neoplastic cells into malignant populations over state-of-the-art and novel treatments to supportive care issues. During the meeting we hope you will be able to feel the excitement that currently surrounds basic and clinical myeloma research. Never before has so much progress been made in understanding the biology of the disease and in improving the management of patients affected by this often incurable disease. Yet the pendulum is slowly, but surely swinging in the direction of significantly improving survival and slowly improving cure rates.
We invite you to be a part of this stimulating event, figure out how your colleagues handle difficult situations and seek out answers to open questions, or feel free to just enjoy the wealth of information to be provided during this one and a half day event.
We hope that you will participate in the forthcoming 22nd EMMA 2020 virtual meeting, and above all, that you will feel that it was highly informative and helpful for your clinical practice.
